Halloween at Noah Homes

Halloween at Noah Homes is a big deal. The folks have plenty of traditions they abide by, whether it’s donning their favorite costumes and trick-or-treating at the Community Center, visiting local pumpkin patches, watching fun movies, and much more.

Last year, the folks participated in a Halloween costume contest hosted by Noah’s PERCH. Everyone dressed to the nines as their favorite characters and had a ball dancing the night away.

This year, Noah’s PERCH changed it up and visited Summer’s Past Farms in East County. Everyone took pictures with pumpkins, met some Highland cows, and hung out with their friends in the community. It was a great way to kick off the spooky season!

Now, as the folks are gearing up for the big holiday, read on to find out what costumes they’ll be wearing this year for trick-or-treat at the Community Center.

  • Christina (Casa de Caridad): This year, I’m going to be the Grinch. ‘Cause I love him.

  • Leah (Casa de Esperanza): Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, because I watched it when I was a kid.

  • Julie (Casa de Felicidad): I’m going to be Thing 1 with (my housemate) Betsy, who’s going to be Thing 2.

  • Roz (Casa de Esperanza): A jedi master, because it’ll be cool enough to wear it.

  • Chantilly (Casa de Fe): The Pink Power Ranger, because she’s a cool girl.

  • Alyssa (Casa de Esperanza): Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I was Ariel [from The Little Mermaid] last year, so I wanted to be Belle this year.
